In-Process QC Parameter for Process Sheet

This master specifies Quality Control Parameters for each internal process for an item with reference to its Process Sheet made in Materials Module.

 

A list of Items for which QC Parameters have already been defined for internal process will be displayed as follows-

 

Search:

Enter any text you want to search in the list below. The search is applicable to all columns of the list. Once the text is entered, press <ENTER> key. As a result, the list will be refreshed with all those records that contain the entered text fully or partially. In order to go back to the original list, remove the text from the box and press <ENTER> key again.

 

QC details can be added, edited, and viewed in this master provided the Role associated with the currently logged-in user through User Management has the respective rights to do so.

 

To 'Add' QC details of an Item, click on the button and to 'Edit', click on the icon on its corresponding record. To view QC details of a particular Item, <DoubleClick> on that record. As a result, following screen will be displayed -

Once Parameters have been specified for Process Sheet of an Item, it can not be 'Deleted'.

Field Description of In-Process QC Parameter Master for Process Sheet

Item:

Denotes the Item for which QC Parameters have to be defined for its Processes.

 

While 'Adding', click on the icon to access a list of Items which have already been defined through Item Master Basic Detail - Entry option in Materials Module. Select your desired Item from the list by scrolling down to it and click on 'Continue' button. Press <TAB>.

 

You can not select an Item that has been deactivated through Activate/De-activate Master option in Administrator Tools Module. The help list will also not display such items.

 

Please note that -

  • Only those 'MK' and 'AS' type of Items will be accepted which already have Internal Processes defined in their Process Sheet through Engineering Module.
  • Only those Items will be displayed/accepted for which In-Process QC Parameters have not been specified yet.

In case of 'Edit' and 'View' modes, Item of the selected record will be displayed automatically. You can not change it.

 

Process Sheet Details

A list of all Inside Operations included in the Process Sheet of the selected Item is displayed as follows -

 

 

Please note that changes can NOT be made in a Process Sheet through this grid.

 

Please select a particular Inside Operation by just clicking on it or scrolling through the grid using <UP ARROW> and <DOWN ARROW> keys. The corresponding In-Process Parameters if any, will be displayed in the adjacent grid explained below.

 

Parameter Details

A grid will be displayed as follows -

 

While 'Adding', an empty grid will be displayed to enter Process Parameters for each Inside Operation.

 

In case of 'Edit' and 'View' modes, if the Process Parameters have already been specified for the current Inside Operation, this grid will be populated with those Process Parameters. In case Process Parameters have not been specified for the current Item, this grid will be displayed blank and the user can enter Parameters in 'Edit' mode.

 

Please select a particular Inside Operation in the 'Process Sheet Detail' grid by just clicking on it or scrolling through the grid using <UP ARROW> and <DOWN ARROW> keys. The corresponding In-Process Parameters if any, will be displayed in this grid. If there is no Process Parameter specified, a blank row will be displayed to enter Process Parameter.

 

Please note that Process Parameters can be specified for Internal Operations only.

 

Click on the button to add a new Process Parameter in the grid. A new row will be added as a result.

Action

Click on the icon to remove a record from the list. Click on the 'Delete' icon again to un-delete the record.

 

Sr. No.:

Automatically generated sequence number.

 

Operation Code:

Automatically displays the currently selected Operation Code for your reference.

 

Param. Group:

Denotes the QC Parameter Group for the Operation.

Click on the field to access a list of QC Terms which have already been defined through Codes Master - Entry (Code Type='QT') option in Administrator Tools Module. Select your desired Term from the list by scrolling down to it and pressing <ENTER>. Alternatively you can also enter the Term. Press <TAB>.

Param. Group Desc:

Description of the selected Parameter Group will be displayed automatically.

 

Param Type:

Denotes the Parameter Type for the Parameter Group.

Click on the field to access a list of QC Plans which have already been defined through Codes Master - Entry (Code Type='QP') option in Administrator Tools Module. Select your desired Plan from the list by scrolling down to it and pressing <ENTER>. Alternatively you can also enter the Plan. Press <TAB>.

Param Type Desc:

Description of the selected Param Type will be displayed automatically.

 

Specification:

(Type : Alphanumeric, Length : 255)

 

Click on the field. Enter any specification related to the Quality Parameter.

 

Installation Equipment Ref:

(Type : Alphanumeric, Length : 25)

 

Click on the field. Enter the Equipment or Instrument or any other Reference used for the Quality Parameter.

 

Record:

(Type : Alphanumeric, Length : 25)

 

Click on the field. Enter the number of records used for Quality Control.

 

Max. Limit:

(Type : Numeric, Length : 8.4)

 

Click on the field. Enter the maximum limit allowed for the Quality parameter.

 

Min. Limit:

(Type : Numeric, Length : 8.4)

 

Click on the field. Enter the minimum limit allowed for the Quality parameter.

 

Sample Size %:

(Type : Numeric, Length : 2.2)

 

Click on the field. Enter the size of Sample in percentage that will be used for the Quality parameter.

Once you have entered all the information, click on 'Save' button to save it or 'Cancel' button to discard. The control will go back to the list.
