ECN Apply

The changes made to a Product Structure through ECN Entry option come into affect only after they are applied through this option. Once these changes have been applied, you can view the new Product Structure through 'Search' mode of Product Structure Master - Entry option.

Please note that in case of 'Revision', the new Item Revision Number will also be updated automatically in Item Master Basic Detail - Entry option after the ECN is applied.

Field Description of ECN Apply

ECN List for Authorisation

A list of all ECN Numbers that have NOT been authorized yet will be displayed in a grid as follows -

Click on the row of a particular ECN Number that has to be authorized. Please note that only one ECN Number can be authorized at a time.

ECN Details for ECN No.

Once a particular ECN Number is selected, another grid displays a list of all the actions including the Global ones that have been taken on that ECN Number through ECN Entry option as follows -

Click on the small check boxes to select or de-select a particular Action that has to be authorized. Please note that you can select multiple Actions in the same manner.

Click on 'Save' button to finally apply the selected ECN Number or 'Cancel' button to discard.
