Rate Master - Entry

Through Rate Master you can add and maintain various rates that may be applicable for labour, machine and overheads costs of various Work Centers. These Rate Codes are further used for shop floor costing purpose. IMMS also maintains a history of revisions of all rates.

By default, a list of all Rates which have already been defined will be displayed as follows -

You can search data in each of the columns of the list. To do so, enter the text in the respective column box given on the top of that column. The search is applicable to all rows of that column. Once the text is entered, press <ENTER> key. As a result, the list will be refreshed with all those records that contain the entered text fully or partially. In order to go back to the original list, remove the text from the box and press <ENTER> key again.

To 'Add' a new Rate Code, click on the button and to 'Edit', or 'Delete' a Rate Code, click on the or icon respectively on its corresponding record. To view details of a particular Rate Code, <DoubleClick> on the record of that Rate Code. As a result, following screen will be displayed -

You can not delete an existing Rate Code if it has been specified for a Work Center.

Field Description of Rate Master - Entry

Rate Code:

(Type : Alphanumeric, Length : 4)

While 'Adding' a new Rate, enter a unique Code for it. This is the Code by which the Rate will be referred throughout IMMS.

In case of 'Edit' , 'View' and 'Delete', Rate Code of the selected record will be displayed. You can NOT change it in 'Edit' mode.

Rate Description:

(Type : Alphanumeric, Length : 40)

In case of 'Add', enter the description for the new Rate Code.

In case of 'Edit' , 'View' and 'Delete', description of the selected Rate Code will be displayed automatically. You can change it in 'Edit' mode.

New Rate Values

Standard Rate/Hour in (Rs):

(Type : Numeric, Length : 3.4)

Enter the Standard Rate per hour applicable for the entered Rate Code. In IMMS, average rate of Item given by various vendors is considered as Standard Rate.

Current Rate/Hour in (Rs):

(Type : Numeric, Length : 3.4)

Enter the Current Rate per hour applicable for the entered Rate Code. In IMMS, rate of Item supplied by default Vendor is considered as Current Rate.

Current Rate Values

Standard Rate/Hour in (Rs):

Displays the last Standard Rate for the selected Rate Code for your reference purpose. It can NOT be changed.

Current Rate/Hour in (Rs):

Displays the last Current Rate for the selected Rate Code for your reference purpose. It can NOT be changed.

Old Rates

A history of previously revised rates of the selected Rate Code along with other details is displayed as follows -

Once you have entered all the information, click on 'Save' button to save or 'Cancel' button to discard. The control will go back to the list.
